Want this?

A theamed youth camp ran outdoors? Will that happen with M’pact or Adventure Rangers-

OR does it need the practical hands on experiance of  mature teen Scout/Ranger’s???

Join me as I dig deep into the foundational principals of  the Scout movement.

Royal Ranger’s since 1962 has  benifited from these principals being placed in

our modern culture. Cdr.Johnnie Barnes was assigned the duty to tailor many

of these activities  along side of the Scouting movement, even if we were reluctant

to admit the kindred “spirit” found in  outdoorsmanship and scouting elements.

*It’s my prayer, that the Ranger Emblem can also  exist along side these noble ethics

presented by Baden Powell much as our German Ranger Pfadinders have embraced.

The bridge ahead,  will require us to tell the truth..

God see’s us all his his children, and has made a way for us to commune with him.

While differences exist in languages, cultures and faiths..  *Through RESPECT and

understanding we may become  his hands in this world..    Alone we are small, but

togather in unity we find abilities far greater than mear self.

*Listen now to the “Chief Scout of the World” as he invites us to join him..

As part of my “Bridge Building” ministry to RR …

Woodbadge started as a  extended camp out with troop #1 headed by Scoutmaster

Baden Powell in england. He camped and developed his program.  “Beads” mentioned

come from a South African chief’s gift to BP  that he in turn chooses to share with you..

at completion of woodbadge training.

Like NTC you join a “Patrol” and train together, unlike NTC   well…

  *Enjoy the differences!

*Enjoy what often is the best.. and worst of Royal Rangers..

I attended NTC ‘96 in Nor California, Donner Mine camp and left

with a deeper desire to understand the “Game” being played..  *Was

this truly “Training” or a  live theatre experience?  Was I to implement

this in my local outpost as a model.. or was I to take it as “inspired insight”

and allow it to fuel my passion for Rangers ministry?

I admire every Ranger leader who took time to  serve on Staff or

train.  Many sacrificed time from work or family.. believing in a higher

purpose, and  a promise of “belonging to a greater fellowship or band of brothers”..

Following NTC *I began to look for information about the “Patrol System” and the

origins of  many NTC themes.. and it led me to the “Scouting Movement”…

*Did I say this right? Did I leave the insight for you to grasp?

Did I extend blessings to all who served while  asking you to dig a bit deeper

beyond the surface?   Let’s turn the NTC beret into a thinking cap!

*I’m swinging hard for a bridge to Royal Rangers..

I can see it, and it is with in grasp of a merry heart and

the trust and confidence of Cdr.Johnnie Barnes words at

the  “First Callout to FCF”..     *He told me and others that

only a few were called to lead and explore wilderness land.

These few were Pioneers and Trailblazers..  *Watch this and

begin to learn our future must embrace kindred believers with

respect  for others. God bless Cdr.Johnnie and BP!

*I love this stuff.. Beautiful!

RR folks just need to relax and soak this in.. This is not our RR Pfadinder friends,

but rather a secular version shown for historical reference.

*I get the  links to pagentry, friendship and pride.

I welcome a review by “Herr Gunter or Fani”   as.. I do not “parlay”

Warning: *LONG and needs a good cup of coffe to enjoy!

Check this out…

First.. *a important event requireing Outpost contact should go

through Senior Guide to have his patrol leaders inform the group.

This is the old school “Phone Tree”… then followed by E-mail.

As soon as a boy has to call his patrol and hassle all the phone tag

his duities become real and vital.  Mom and Dad will see that right off

and the entire boy leadership model get’s off the ground!

*Also: a personal note…

I’m a “Old Dude” ect. and  www.Rangernet.org has been way ahead of the

rabble and thunder’n herd on how open communication  can speed change.

Well done.. and beautiful presentation of the current FCF program.

I have a few questions..

*As I understood it, FCF was began to “protect and preserve” Royal Rangers and

it’s ministry. Often along the way,  a few top-knotch Rangers will go beyond the call of duty

and  *thus be “Called out”..    and be made deserveing of  recognition by a time of testing

and reflection.   This vigil.. or “Ordeal”  would deepen the  faithful and yeld personal insight.

*I know it did for me..

Now..40 years has to bring changes, and God knows it’s been a rocky road..

*Where did the stalking sticks go?

*Where is the fun preserved in the “Brotherhood”..

*How well does a “Historical Black Powder” genre hold against current program changes?
